African Throw #2
We were walking through New York City on our way to Maman Coffee (yummy!) and stumbled across an antique market. While at the market we ran into Ousmane, a vendor specializing in African goods. He had about a dozen piles of textiles staked well over head high. I immediately put my coffee down and dug in. We pulled our 7 absolute favorites but we could have easily picked over 20... we grabbed a card...
These textiles are perfect for so many different things from reupholstering a bench, to creating pillow cases, adding as an accent over a couch, or topping a set of dresser drawers.
This rust colored throw is my personal favorite of the bunch and the color is very uncommon. She's unbelievably vibrant! This throw is rust colored with arrows on one side and an even, solid wash on the reverse. It's like two throws in one!
