Blanket Bin

This is an antique English Firewood Box!

This firewood box is covered in brass and is a beautiful testament to the time. Could you imagine putting firewood in a box this beautiful?? When we bought it at an antique show we swore it was tin it was so dirty. We cleaned it up and did tons of research and realized it's brass! Upon polishing the wood, we also realized this box is made of giant slats of pine. It's truly beautiful and so unique. While you could still put your firewood in it - we really loved it as a blanket box!
