Countess of Germany Couture Dress
Understated perfection and a masterpiece of technique! This dress was commissioned in 1936 for the countess of Germany. All clothing at this time was custom made to the individual so the fabric, measurements, and style would have been chosen by the countess and created by her favorite fashion house. This is a one-of-a-kind. There isn't another one in the world!
It is in nearly mint condition with some fraying to the circles in the sleeves. Given the age of this garment - it's in phenomenal shape. It zips up the front in what is one of the smartest closure systems I've ever seen. I want to replicate it one day!
Size : 2-4 (on the smaller side!)
Color : Black
Material : Silk
You'll never see us use the word perfect in our descriptions because nothing ever is. We deliver beautiful garments that are in great shape. Tiny holes, frayed strings, or unnoticeable stains happen. We will always disclose any noticeable flaws!
